We have been remodeling all of our two bedroom apartments. We are also remodeling all apartments as they become available. So if you are becoming a new resident at Wildwoods of Lake Johnson, you’ll be moving into a newly or recently remodeled home.

No. Garden plots are free, but are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All remodeled apartments are leased for 12 months.

Residents of WildWoods enjoy all of our amenities, including lush natural landscaping, a wonderful pool, fitness center, and other recreational areas, proximity to Lake Johnson, and convenience to great shopping, dining, and the greater Raleigh area. There is also a staffed leasing office and on-site maintenance. Also included assigned parking, ample un-numbered guest parking, and trash disposal.

Residents of WildWoods are responsible for their own utilities. All appliances and heating / cooling are electric, so no natural gas is needed. You will need to arrange your electric service directly with the electric company. WildWoods has AT&T fiber, as well as cable, available. Call our office to ask about costs and getting service set up. If you are a Spectrum customer, you can certainly transfer your services over to your new address at WildWoods.

WildWoods has a minimum security deposit of $200. If you bring a small dog or cat, the security deposit increases to $300. If you bring a dog above 50 pounds, the security deposit is $500.*

Security deposits are refundable as long as no rent or damages to the apartment are owed.

If your income does not meet our minimum requirements, lease payments up-in-front are options. Please talk to us.

We can accept a co-signer if they are from the area. (Wake County and close-by countites.) They will need to fill out an application as well and pay their own $50 application fee.

You can apply at the WildWoods leasing office or request that an application form be emailed to you. You must be 18 years old or older.

You will need to pay both a $50 application fee (per person) and a $150 reservation fee (per apartment). You must also provide proof of income (last two pay stubs or an offer letter on letter head). You will need a copy of both your driver’s license and social security card.

The $150 reservation fee is for holding a specific apartment for you until your move-in date. Upon move-in you will be credited back the $150 toward your move-in expenses. (Rent, deposit, etc.)

The reservation fee is non-refundable if you decide not to move-in. It will be refunded if your application is not approved.

After your application has been properly submitted, we will complete a credit check, rental history, and criminal background check. You will be contacted as soon as you are approved. the process usually takes around one-two business days.
